Chapter 7: Honoring 7 Years of The House Of Obatala
Since opening in 2019, House of Obatala has served as a space for healing, guidance, and cultural connection within the Bronx and beyond.
The work began as a traditional botanica rooted in cultural practices, spiritual tools, and community access. Over time, the practice evolved into something more refined and intentional, moving beyond physical products and into deeper, more direct forms of support.
Today, House of Obatala stands as a holistic wellness and cultural education practice, grounded in lived experience, consistency, and community. This work has supported individuals through life transitions, emotional healing, and spiritual development both in private sessions and shared spaces.
This milestone represents more than time in business. It reflects growth, discernment, and the willingness to evolve honoring tradition while also expanding into new ways of working, teaching, and serving.
As I step into this next chapter, my focus continues to evolve offering more structured services, expanded wellness experiences, and opportunities to work with individuals, organizations, and communities in more intentional ways.
